Learn English Sounds Rightは、 British Councilによる、世界中の英語学習者と先生のための無料発音チャートです。

英語学習者
英語の音や発音、または発音記号を理解するのに苦労していませんか？Learn English Sounds Rightをスマートフォン、またはタブレットにインストールしておけば、いつでもどこでも練習することができます。下矢印をタップすると、その音を使った3つの単語の例を聞くことができます。

英語教師
授業の中で、学習者の発音を助けるために音素表記発音記号を使用していますか？Learn English Sounds Rightをクラスで使用するデバイス、または学習者のデバイスにインストールしておけば、それぞれの音と発音記号を簡単に教えることができます。

*純粋母音は、口の形に基づきIPAチャートと同じように配列されています（左から右に、唇を横に広く開けて発音/唇を丸く開けて発音。上から下に、顎を閉じて発音/顎を開いて発音）。

*二重母音は2つめの音に基づきグループ化され、配列されています。

*子音は左（口の前方で発音）から左（口の後方で発音）へと配置されています。上の2行の子音はペアになっています（一番上の行は無声音、その下の行は有声音）。破裂音をタップすると、シュワ―（ ə）が表示されます。これはシュワ―のある破裂音は、分かりやすいように録音されているからです。

This review is not about the software working but about its design and purpose... I think Wikipedia has better sound recordings for consonants. It's a simple and almost ancient tecnique to use a random vowel (mostly [a]) to completely articulate plosive and affricate consonants. I must to admit, also, that I thought it would have many other functions or applications, like allophonic distinctions and so...

Better if it had drills and also mouth diagrams. On s6 the rightmost buttons are tiny. Feedback email is invalid.
