Was forced to upgrade to the new app after the (perfectly functional) old app was deprecated. The new app does *not* allow background syncing with bluetooth like the old one did, instead the AI chatbot is prompting me to buy a hub. At least give the option to allow for background syncing. No, I don't want to buy a hub to support my *one* monitor

There are some inconsistencies in data display and occasional holes in data sampling. These kind of bugs raise questions about whether there are hidden bugs in data capture. Also, they have an option for turning off 'offers, news and tips', but they still show ads for their products in the app when this is turned off. The app unnecessarily requires Internet access to work, a big problem for me. There is no app option for data download, you must use their website for that.

Hi there, there can be a small delay in the app vs the screen of the device since the data must be sent to the cloud before it is shown on the app. Additionally, we are aware of the occasional data gaps in sampling and are working on a fix for this as we speak. Please reach out to support@airthings.com regarding you getting ads in the app.

I'm off-grid with no wifi and rely only on mobile data. If my signal is bad, despite Bluetooth, I cannot access and get readings from any devices. I just get a network error saying try again later. I should be able to access the devices using Bluetooth regardless of whether I have an internet connection. Also, the app update is miserable. It's impossible to see all chart data for temperature, for instance, in a single screen for one day, just small segments of the chart with paging.
